Matteh Moshiach Prepares For The Building Of The 3rd Beis HaMikdash
By Boruch Moskowitz

Last year, Matteh Moshiach arranged a series of lectures around Eretz Yisroel to study inyanei Moshiach and Geula. People from over fifty locations participated in learning Hilchos Beis HaBechira – at the time, quite an impressive number. This year, however, the number of locations has doubled!

In the weeks preceding the Three Weeks, Rabbi Shmuel Hendel and Rabbi Avrohom Rosenblatt of Matteh Moshiach contacted shluchim to begin arranging the classes. Matteh Moshiach helped organize and subsidize the classes on Hilchos Beis HaBechira.

Prior to the Three Weeks, maps at Matteh Moshiach showed over 70 locations in which classes would be given. As the deadline approached, the number of requests grew, until 98 locations were pinpointed on the map!

The series of lectures was in collaboration with Machon HaMikdash of Yerushalayim and Rabbi Dov Lavnoni. Machon HaMikdash has produced highly acclaimed models of the Mikdash and the vessels, as well as material explaining topics connected with the Mikdash and the service performed there. The members of Machon HaMikdash and Rabbi Lavnoni did their best not to miss a single lecture crammed into the sixteen weekdays of the Three Weeks.

The lectures were embellished with visual aids such as slides, maps and diagrams and were followed by questions and answers. The positive feedback was heartening. The shluchim in Kiryat Gat related that a woman stood up and with tears in her eyes said that we cannot wait any longer and Hashem must build the Beis HaMikdash immediately!

At another lecture in Kiryat Gat, Gerrer Chassidim sat alongside Lubavitchers and men with knitted yarmulkas. In Bnei Brak, Jews from various backgrounds and affiliations were present. The mashpia Rabbi Zalman Landau took note of this and remarked that it reflected a new reality, as it will be in the Yemos HaMoshiach, when all Jews will sit side by side. In Chaifa, the organizers confirmed that they have not seen such a large crowd on their premises in a long time as had participated in this lecture series.

Rabbi Hendel and Rabbi Rosenblatt informed the crowd that the basic premise of these classes is, as the Rebbe says, to learn the laws for a practical purpose to be put to immediate use, not as something that was once done long ago.

This year the chaplain at the army base in Tzrifin requested a class. Dozens of soldiers filled the army shul and listened attentively to the lecture given by Rabbi Menachem Makover of Machon HaMikdash. Afterwards, the commander remarked that according to these prophecies, the I.D.F. would soon be putting down their weapons.

the Beis HaMikdash according to shitas Chabad
In a conversation with Beis Moshiach, Rabbi Menachem Makover, director of Machon HaMikdash, said, “Matteh Moshiach’s terrific publicity brought many people out to hear about the Beis HaMikdash, according to the Rebbe’s directive.”

There are many opinions concerning the details of the Beis HaMikdash, and Machon HaMikdash prepared their presentations based on shitas Chabad. Many thanks to Matteh Moshiach and to the participants. May we speedily merit to see the Beis HaMikdash in all its glory.

the only way to live with inyanei Moshiach and Geula
With the successful conclusion of the mivtza, Rabbi Shmuel Hendel said that the mivtza “was the result of weeks of work. We began to organize the mivtza, not as just another directive of the Rebbe, but with the knowledge that this is the only way to live with inyanei Moshiach and Geula, and is the ‘straight path’ with which to greet Moshiach.

“Despite the short amount of time we had to work with and the size of the mivtza, we managed to reach a larger crowd than ever. This shows that this is the holy desire of the Rebbe MH”M.

We thank Rabbi Dov Lavnoni and Machon HaMikdash for their cooperation. May we speedily see the revelation of the Rebbe MH”M who will rebuild the Mikdash and gather in all Jews to Eretz Yisroel.”
